Wie der Jeff mir meldet, hat der Entwickler von "Duke Nukem: Source" (Netzteil berichtete) inzwischen Post von 3D Realms bekommen. Die komplette Mail findet ihr in diesem Forenpost. Auszug:

[W]e have to protect our properties. If we do not, then we lose control of them, and that's something we simply can't allow, even as much as we might want to allow mods like this.

Trotzdem wird die Mod weiterentwickelt, jetzt allerdings nur noch in (starker) Anlehnung an Duke3D und mit dem Titel "Los Angeles, California; a source mod". Golem hat seinen Artikel geupdated, auch bei HLPortal gibt's einen.
